We also offer remote and hybrid opportunities, so our internships are also suitable for those who have longed to gain nonprofit work experience but want to do some from their home.

What can I expect to learn in a Grant Writing Internship?

The internship tasks vary hugely across the different placements we offer. Depending on the type of internship you sign up for, you can get practical work experience in areas such as fundraising, business development, marketing, donor relations, grant writing, NGO management, and more. Because we mostly partner with small, grassroots organizations, our internships are quite flexible and offer you to dabble in a variety of tasks, so that you can explore your skills. The learning doesn’t stop at work; as an intern working for a nonprofit organization, you’ll also get a chance to learn about a whole new country and culture. The possibilities are endless!

Regardless of which location or organization you choose for your fundraising internship, you’ll gain an understanding of the behind-the-scenes and what it takes to create sustainable change through conservation and development work.
